The company that owns Food Lion grocery stores plans to close over 100 stores across it’s various locations. However, none of the Henderson stores will close. The only ones in North Carolina to close are in Cary, Hendersonville, Mooresville, Morrisville, and Weaverly.

Indeed, why would they close any stores here? They just about have a monopoly except for those bravely shopping Walmart–where the service is non-existent in my opinion. At least there is service with a smile at FL–.
We need a high end grocery store in Henderson–alas.
