On January 13, 2011 members of the Henderson Police Department were conducting patrols in the area of America’s Best Value Inn, 200 Parham Road, when the officers located suspicious activity. Upon conducting their investigation officer’s located a firearm on Rodriquez Crudup, 25, of 707 Champion Street, Henderson. Mr. Crudup was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a firearm by felon. Mr. Crudup received a $40,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on February 21, 2012.
Also arrested was Damien Jones, 25, of Mount Pleasant Church Road. Mr. Jones was charged with providing fictitious information to an officer and for an outstanding order for arrest. He received a $900.00 secured bond pending a court hearing on February 21, 2012.
Obviously Mr. Crudup and Jones have learned nothing in their short 25 years. I doubt either will learn anything in the next 25 years locked up or not. Although, if they are locked up they will be among their own kind and we will be a safer county while they are locked up.
Excellent job by the Henderson police. Keep these people locked up, please!
Why was the picture of Mr. Jones so blurry and not re-taken though?
Again, another one of The Miles family kin from 707 Champion Street. I wonder if Rev. Miles will challenge this and accuse the police of pickin’ on his folks.
