Travel Free on North Carolina’s Amtrak to Governor’s Conference


Amtrak is offering complimentary round-trip transportation for Governor’s Conference attendees. The train will leave Raleigh on March 11 at 11:45 a.m. and arrive in Kannapolis at 2:47 p.m., making planned stops in Cary, Durham, Burlington, Greensboro, High Point, and Salisbury. On March 13, the train leaves Kannapolis at 5:40 p.m., reversing the route, and arrives in Raleigh at 8:26 p.m. The Division and the Cabarrus County CVB will provide transportation to and from the Embassy Suites and the train station as well as a side excursion after the conference before departure. There is free parking at all the stations. Space is limited so RSVP by March 5 by emailing the participant’s name, company name, boarding station, email, and phone number to Diana Cabot-Miller.
