Man Arrested for Theft of Cable Service

On Monday, February 27, 2012, Officer J. B. West of the Henderson Police Department investigated a complaint of a suspicious person behind apartment 25 in the Henderson Height Apartment complex.  West recognized the suspect as Terrance Arnold Alston.  A warrant check revealed that there was an outstanding order for arrest for failing to appear on a drug paraphernalia charge.  Alston was taken into custody.  Further investigation revealed that Alston was in possession of tools and materials that enable the illegal hookup of cable service.

Terrance “T-Dog” Alston was charged with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of carrying a concealed weapon, one count of theft of cable service and served with one order for arrest for failing to appear.  He was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a 1,300.00 secured bond.  A trial date of April 3, 2012 has been set for Vance County District Court.
