On Tuesday, March 13, 2012, members of the Henderson Police Department arrested LaMichael Grant, 22, 552 High Street, Henderson. Grant was taken into custody at 517 High Street without incident. Grant was placed in the Vance County Jail without privilege of bond pending a hearing in Vance County District Court on March 26, 2012. On Monday, March 12, 2012, officers of the Henderson Police Department were dispatched at 6:30 P.M. to the 100 block of West Rockspring Street in response to someone shot. Officers found Avon Fouch, 31, last known address of 277 Faulkner Street unresponsive. Fouch was transported to Maria Parham Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. Deception I get your point. I am one black person who is not in denial. Black people “we gotta do better”!!!! It is a shame that we have this type of crime in itty bitty Henderson. In my opinion, this is no longer the place to live or raise a family.
