Henderson PD And NC Alcohol Law Enforcement Joint Operation Arrests Abusers

On March 26th-29th, officers of the Henderson Police Department and Agents of the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Agency participated in a joint operation.  The purpose of the operation was to target quality of life issues in communities throughout the city.  Officers and Agents were paired together and sent out into various communities to concentrate on nuisance type crimes.  The following is a synopsis of the charges filed by the officers and agents:

On Monday March 26, 2012, Lancey Matthew Terry, 42, 110 Dick Faines Road was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Heroin and Maintaining a Vehicle for Keeping a Controlled Substance.  He was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a 2,500.00 secured bond.  A court date was scheduled for April 9, 2012 in  Vance County District Court.

On March 29, 2012, in conjunction with this operation, a search warrant was served at 845 Lamb Street in Henderson.    Officers located 79 bindles of heroin and 5.2 grams of crack cocaine.  The following individuals have been charged as a result of this search:
