To promote the use of social media, including Facebook, GOP House members are invited to compete in the annual New Media Challenge. The competition, now in its third year, promotes use of social media to reach constituents and also highlights the most creative uses of social media platforms.
The Facebook round of the 2012 House GOP New Media Challenge began this week. Points are awarded for the number of “Likes” members can get on their official Facebook page by Friday at 5 p.m. ET.
