Strong Arm Robbery & Larceny Case:
On September 06, 2012 at 10:15 p.m., officers of the Henderson Police Department were dispatched to a robbery that just occurred on East Andrews Ave. Upon arrival officers found the victim, Rodney Davis of Jessup Road Westport Ct. Mr. Davis stated that two black males grabbed him and took some money from his pocket. The two black males then ran from the scene. One suspect was wearing a gold shirt and black pants and the other one was wearing a white T- shirt and blue jeans. On September 22, 2012 at 5:10 p.m., officers of the Henderson Police Department were dispatched to 119 Lincoln Street for a fire. Upon arrival officers talked to Asst. Fire Chief Steve Cordell who advised the fire on Lincoln Street was suspicious. On September 11, 2012 at 3:30 pm The Vance County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a larceny at Brewer Cycle, 420 Warrenton Road. Upon arrival deputies talked to Chris Brewer who stated that someone cut a hole in the chain fence and took an all-terrain off road vehicle. The owner of Brewer’s is offering a $1000.00 reward for the arrest of suspects in this case. On September 11, 2012 at 4:30 pm The Vance County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a larceny at Quality Equipment 70 John Deere Road. Upon arrival Deputies talked to Tommy Ellington who stated that someone cut a hole in the chain fence and took two zero turn lawn mowers. Video was taken at the scene.
