The Henderson Police Department wants to remind citizens of the temporary street closing for the 2012 “Show, Shine Shag & Dine” event in downtown Henderson October 20th
Garnett Street will be closed from Young Avenue to Andrews Avenue and all intersections in between. Streets affected are Burwell Avenue at Garnett Street, Spring Street at Garnett Street, Horner Street at Garnett Street. The following will have partial closures: Orange Street from Garnett to Wyche Street, Winder Street from Garnett Street to Wyche Street, Breckenridge Street from Garnett Street to Chestnut Street, Montgomery Street from Garnett Street to Court Street, and Young Street from Garnett Street to Court Street. These remaining streets will be fully closed: Church Street from Garnett Street to Chestnut Street and Rose Avenue from Garnett Street to Chestnut Street.
