Clifton Morris Hammond
On October 26, 2012 around 11:14 PM officers with the Henderson Police Department responded to Room 114 at the Scottish Inns, 1759 N. Garnett Street, Henderson, NC. Upon arrival to the hotel, officers found EMS performing procedures on Antonio Hammond, 33, of Henderson. Antonio Hammond was transported by EMS to Maria Parham Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The victim’s brother, Clifton Morris Hammond, 26, of Henderson was arrested and charged with second degree murder. He was placed in the Vance County Jail under a $100,000 secured bond pending an initial appearance in court on November 5, 2012.
Don’t worry Cliff….call one of the infamous city council members and I’m sure she will work out a deal on your bond. Just don’t jump bail b/c she will run an ad in the local paper asking for others to ‘snitch’ your whereabouts.
