The City of Henderson Public Services Department Sanitation Division follow the schedule below for holidays during the month of December.
Monday, Christmas Eve, December 24, 2012 Garbage collection will follow normal schedule, Brush will be picked up on Wednesday the 26th. No Recycle collection.
Tuesday, Christmas Day, December 25, 2012 Garbage collection and Brush will be collected on Wednesday the 26th. No Recycle Collection.
Thursday, December 27, 2012 Garbage collection will be collected on Friday. Brush will be collected on Thursday. No Recycle Collection.
Friday, December 28, 2012 Garage collection will be collected on Saturday. Brush will be collected on Friday. No Recycle Collection.
Monday, New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2012 Garbage collection will follow normal schedule, Brush will follow normal schedule. Recycle Collection will follow normal Schedule.
Tuesday, New Year’s Day, January 1, 2013 Garbage collection, Recycle Collection and Brush will be collected on Wednesday the 2nd.
Thursday, January 3, 2013 Garbage collection will be collected on Friday. Brush will be collected on Thursday. Recycle collection will be collected on Thursday.
Friday, January 4, 2013 Garage collection will be collected on Saturday. Brush will be collected on Friday. Recycle collection will be collected on Friday.
Loose leaf collection will end on January 15, 2013, after this date leaves must to be bagged or in a container, Loose leaves Should be placed in rows or piles at the roadside; provided that such rows or piles shall not interfere with vehicular or pedestrian or with the operation of the city ’S storm drainage System. Leaves shall nor be placed in the gutter or Street area or in an open ditch. Loose leaves must be leaves only and not contain any broken gloss, rocks, large stieks or other debris that could cause severe damage to the leaf collection equipment. Leaves will not be collected until such times as they are removed.
