On Monday, December 24, 2012 at 1:22 A.M., members of the Henderson Police Department responded to the Waffle House, 942 W. Andrews Avenue in response to a report of an armed robbery.  Officers found that three suspects armed with firearms entered the store and demanded currency from the cash drawer.  Restaurant employees turned over an undetermined amount of U. S. currency to the armed individuals. The suspects were described as three black males all wearing dark clothing. Armed Robbery Case:
On Friday, December 21, 2012, at 10:46 P.M. members of the Henderson Police Department responded to the New Dixie Mart, 1201 Dabney Drive, Henderson in response to a report of an armed robbery. The clerk, Joseph Magbie advised that two black males entered the store brandishing firearms. The suspects removed an undisclosed amount of U. S. currency from the store.  The first suspect is described as a black male, slender, and approximately 6 foot tall.  The second suspect was simply described as being a black male wearing some type of baseball cap. Both individuals fled the scene on foot. Shooting Case:
On December 05, 2012 at 6:45 pm The Vance County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an shooting at 2064 Vicksboro Road, Stop One Grocery.  Upon arrival Deputies found Gaifi Renza Ali who had a Gun Shot to the head. Gaifi Renza Ali stated that someone shot him in the back of the head. No suspects at this time. On December 21, 2012 at 10:30 am. The Vance County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to an armed robbery at Highway 39 BP, 2868 NC 39 South. Upon arrival Deputies talked to Ashton Malin who stated that two black males wearing mask and gloves came in the store with weapons and demanded money. Upon arrival Deputies found Lawana Clark who stated that two black males with weapons dress in all black with green masks came in the store and demanded money. Then suspects left running from the business.
