Cruizers To Donate $6,500 to Henderson Middle School

Check Presented Wednesday March 13 at 11am at Cruizers store on Ruin Creek Road

March 11, 2013 (Henderson, NC)— This week Cruizers Convenience Marketplace will present a check for $6,500 to Henderson Middle School as part of the BP Fueling Communities Grant Program.

“We were able to qualify for the program and wanted to direct the money to an organization that makes a difference in Vance County,” says Cruizers Convenience Marketplace President Edward Holmes. “During times of budget cuts, we are very proud to be able to provide financial assistance to local schools in our area.”

On Wednesday, March 13th Holmes will present a check to Dr. John Hargrove, Principal of Henderson Middle School, at the Cruizers store at 567 Ruin Creek Road. The ceremony begins promptly at 11AM.

The donation is part of a larger corporate giving initiative that saw Cruizers donate $20,000 to 28 local schools this year as part of ExxonMobil and BP Grant Programs.
