Henderson Police Department: Rape Suspect Arrested


On Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 2:28 P.M., Henderson Police officers were dispatched to Thomas Street in Henderson in reference to a sexual assault.  The 50 year-old victim in this matter stated that while walking down Young Avenue, she was confronted by a male with a handgun.  The victim was forcibly removed from the roadway at which time she was sexually assaulted. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Officers were able to locate the suspect shortly after the incident was reported at the residence of 1502 Parham Street, Henderson. The suspect was identified as Daquan Foster, 20, of 63 Lynnbank Estates Road, Henderson. Daquan Foster was charged with first degree rape and second degree kidnapping. Foster received a $130,000 secured bond pending an initial court appearance.

A search warrant was conducted on the residence of 1502 Parham Street and numerous items were collected that included a handgun. A photograph of Mr. Foster has not been released at this time to preserve the integrity of any ongoing investigations.
