On April 10, 2013 around 5:24 PM officer with the Henderson Police Department responded to the 400 block of Cross Street in reference to a person who had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found Jermaine Hargrove, 25, of Henderson suffering from an apparent gunshot to the left upper leg. EMS responded and transport Mr. Hargrove to an area hospital for treatment. Suspect is described as a black male, 5’8” in height, with dreads. Suspect approached the victim on foot and fled the area on foot. A K-9 track was conducted, but the suspect was not located. Mr. Hargrove was also shot on June 6, 2012 at 408 Harriett Street. Robert Ross, 22, was arrested in that case. Robert Ross is currently awaiting trial in the federal system.
