Triple Bridge Replacement Project Starts Monday in Granville County
RALEIGH — Work gets under way on Monday, May 13, on an N.C. Department of Transportation project to replace three bridges just 2/10ths of a mile apart over Beaver Dam Creek on Brassfield Road, southeast of Creedmoor. Fred Smith Co. of Raleigh was awarded the $1.1million contract as the low bidder. The oldest bridge of the group was built in 1950, while the other two were constructed in 1964.
