Automotive Engine Manufacturer to Create 127 Jobs in Lincoln County
Tuesday (May 7), Governor Pat McCrory and N.C. Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced that Borghetti Turbos North America, Inc., a manufacturer of turbochargers, gas turbines, compressors and other related automotive parts, will open a new facility in Lincoln County. The company plans to create 127 jobs and invest more than $3.7 million over the next three years in Lincolnton. RALEIGH — A culvert pipe collapse caused by the on-rush of water from a collapsed beaver dam has closed Sam Moss Hayes Road, northeast of Creedmor in Granville County. It appears the recent heavy rain caused a buildup of water behind the dam, which was built at the culvert that carried a creek under the road. RALEIGH – The N.C. Structural Pest Control Committee recently approved the following settlement agreements for cases in Duplin, Forsyth, Guilford, Iredell, Jackson, New Hanover, Pitt and Robeson counties. Brian Yarborough of Bioremediation Services of America Inc. in High Point agreed to pay $10,000 for performing and advertising for pest control services without a license.
