Assault Case:
On July 27, 2013 at approximately 3:29 A.M., members of the Henderson Police Department responded to 624 Flint Street in reference to two victims shot. Upon arrival, officers located the victims sitting on the porch of the residence. The victims were identified as Ms. Caustine Powell of Pinkston Street and a Ms. Genetta Pitchford of Warrenton NC. Both ladies were found to be suffering from gunshot wounds. Robbery Case:
On June 28, 2013 at approximately 8:33 A.M., members of the Henderson Police Department responded to 200 Breckenridge Street, the Henderson Police Department, in reference to a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival officers spoke to the victim, Mr. Connell Williams. Mr. Williams advised that sometime between 12:30am and 1:00am he was robbed at gunpoint by 2 black males behind the “Quick Stop” store located at 517 E. Breaking & Entering Larceny Case:
On July 04, 2013 at 3:55am, deputies with the Vance County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a breaking and entering alarm at On The Mark, 585 Bearpond Road. Upon arrival deputies found the front door open. A large amount of cigarettes were taken from the store.
