Wayne Elliott Hubbard
On Monday, May 12, 2014, members of the Henderson Police Department arrested Wayne Elliott Hubbard, 27, 127 Granite Street in Henderson. Hubbard’s arrest stems from a federal grand jury returning indictments charging Hubbard with one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of possession of ammunition. Hubbard was placed in the Vance County Jail without privilege of bond pending an initial hearing in federal court.
The charges in this matter stem from an incident on August 19, 2013. Hubbard was detained during a traffic stop in Henderson when it was learned he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. After being taken into custody, officers located a handgun in his possession.
