LOUISBURG, N.C.— Louisburg College President Mark La Branche is pleased to announce that Jonathan Ehrlich will be joining the staff in October as its next Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Ehrlich’s hiring concludes an extensive national search to replace retiring current CFO Belinda Faulkner.
“I do not believe we could have attracted a more fitting candidate,” says La Branche. “He is very pleased to be joining the College, as well as being impressed with the progress made and positive changes which have taken place at the College. He and his family are looking forward to moving to Louisburg.”
Ehrlich, who currently resides in Black Mountain, NC, comes to the College with almost 28 years of higher education financial experience, including leadership positions at Rollins College, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, College of the Atlantic, and most recently, Warren Wilson. During his tenure there, the College ended each year with operational surpluses. Ehrlich played an integral part in the growth and financial health of the school. Among his accomplishments at Warren Wilson is the successful negotiation and implementation of a comprehensive energy audit which has enabled the College to capitalize on energy savings and reinvest in campus development.
Jon earned his B.A. from Middlebury College, and holds both an M.A. from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Rollins College. He also completed NACUBO’s three-year business leadership program. Jon is currently working toward his Ph.D. at UNC-Charlotte.
