SOIL SAMPLE REMINDER
If you deliver soil samples to the Warren or Vance Extension Center by 5 pm on November 24th, we will deliver to the lab in time to avoid the “Peak Season Fee” ($4/sample) that goes into effect from December through March. Samples MUST be received at the lab by November 25th to avoid the fee.
WARREN COUNTY FARM BILL MEETING
The Vance/Warren Farm Service Agency will conduct an informational meeting on the new Farm Bill on Thursday, Nov 20, 6pm at the Warren County Extension Center. This is a MUST for field crop farmers. You have some IMPORTANT decisions to make that will be in effect for the next five years. Dinner provided (sponsored by Warren County Farm Bureau). Register by 11/18 (call 252-438-3134 ext. 2). If you cannot attend (and even if you can!) make an appointment with FSA to discuss your options.
