On Thursday, February 5, 2015, members of the Henderson Police Department Special Operations Unit arrested two individuals on heroin trafficking related charges.
Marselle Rasheed Johnson
Marselle Rasheed Johnson, 27, 733 Old Baker Street, Oxford was charged with the following offenses: Trafficking heroin by transport; Trafficking heroin by possession; and Manufacturing heroin. Johnson was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a 300,000.00 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in Vance County Superior Court on February 16, 2015.
Lorenzo Martez Alston
Lorenzo Martez Alston, 24, 844 Water Street, Henderson was charged with the following offenses: Maintaining a vehicle for keeping/selling a controlled substance; Manufacturing heroin; Trafficking heroin by transportation; Trafficking heroin by possession; Sell and deliver heroin. Alston was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a 300,000.00 secured bond. He too is scheduled to appear in Vance County District Court on February 16, 2015.
It should also be noted that at the time of his arrest, Alston was out on pretrial release for heroin trafficking charges in Wake County.
