The application process for rising ninth graders to apply to the Vance County Early College High School is now open.
Applications are available online through the Vance County Schools’ website at www.vcs.k12.nc.us or through the guidance counselors at the middle schools.
Completed applications are due March 25.
There will be a “Parent Night” session for all interested parents, especially those of current eighth graders, at Eaton-Johnson Middle School on March 10 at 6 p.m. and at Henderson Middle School on March 17 at 6 p.m. These sessions will include presentations about the Early College, presentations from the ninth-grade counselors from Northern Vance and Southern Vance high schools and a presentation by Willa Clark, director of the school system’s Career and Technical Education program. These sessions are designed to present high school information to middle school parents and students.
