A ribbon cutting was held on Thursday, April 9 to celebrate our membership with the Chamber. Our purpose in joining the chamber is to promote the Word of God to the children of the Vance County area. At summer camp we provide Bible studies, canoeing, crafts, swimming, hiking, and other activities available at the location of the Camp. This year celebrates our 10th year of summer camp in Vance County.
In 2013 new Board members were appointed to continue and promote the work of our Christian faith through Kerr Lake Ministries, Inc. We are a 501C(3) non-profit, non-denominational Christian Organization. In our Bible studies we do not promote any church doctrine but read and discuss verses and stories based on the Bible.
In memory of our founder, Joe Sears, who passed away in 2013, and to celebrate our tenth year of service we have opened our summer camp experience to all that have a desire to enroll children ages 5-12 in this program.
This year camp will be FREE to celebrate our 10th year of camp in Vance County. Day camp will be held at Camp Kerr Lake the week of July 20th – 24th, 2015 daily from 9 – 3PM. Also to commemorate our 10th year celebration, a Bible or a Bible Story Book will be provided to each child attending summer camp.
