Henderson, NC (April 23, 2015) – 2015’s first of three free “Meet Me in the Street” concerts is scheduled for Friday, May 15 featuring “The Holiday Band”. Performing for over 21 years, this North Carolina band has played dates in 11 states, has been voted group of the year and is known for being one of the most versatile bands around with a wide range of musical styles on their set list. The free concert will take place on Breckenridge Street in Downtown Henderson from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Food vendors will include Chick-fil-A of Henderson, Harris Incorporated of Durham and the Chamber will be selling Coke products and water. ID is required to purchase alcoholic beverages.
Other concerts for 2015 are set for Thursday, August 27 featuring “The Konnection Band”, and Friday, September 18 featuring “Steve Owens & Summertime”.
