Southern Vance High School officials held the induction of new members of the school’s chapter of the National Beta Club in the gymnasium on April 28.
Parents, family members and friends attended the event.
Southern Vance Principal Stephanie Ayscue presented certificates to each of the 54 new inductees, who earned membership into the chapter based on their outstanding academic achievements. There were 51 sophomores among the inductees, with the remaining students being juniors.
