Heroin Trafficker Sentenced

On Tuesday, July 30, 2014, members of the Henderson Police Department Criminal Investigation Division and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation arrested Robert-Korey White, 31, 666 Vance Street, Henderson. White was charged with one count of trafficking heroin.

White was charged after a traffic stop in which officers located 150 bricks(7,500 dosage units) of heroin. The heroin street level value of the heroin in this matter was 75,000.00. The investigation revealed the heroin in this matter was slated for distribution in the surrounding areas.

White was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a 200,000.00 secured bond. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for August 11, 2014.

On June 29, 2015, Robert Korey White pled guilty in Vance County Superior Court to one count of trafficking more than 4 grams but less than 13 grams of heroin. White was sentenced to a minimum term of 90 months with a maximum term of 120 months. White will serve his term of incarceration with the North Carolina Department of Corrections.
