Continue Good Sanitation in Garden & Orchard!
Sanitation practices help reduce the need for pesticides
Clean up fallen fruit, remove diseased foliage or other plant parts, rake up fallen leaves, and pull non-productive plants out of the vegetable garden. These practices help reduce pest populations (both insects & diseases) for the rest of the year and for next year as well. Keeping up with weed control can also help, since weeds can provide habitat for insect and disease pests. Also consider removing plants or plant parts that have heavy insect infestations.
