IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

 

 

The Vance County Board of Education meets at 7 p.m. on Monday in the Board Room of the Administrative Services Center.

 

 

 

 

A “Teacher Talk” session will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday in the Board Room of the Administrative Services Center.

 

 

 

 

Early release day on Wednesday for students due to staff development sessions in the afternoon. Elementary and high schools dismiss at 12 p.m. and middle schools dismiss at 12:15 p.m. The STEM Early High dismisses at 11:45 a.m. It is a regular school day at the Early College High School.

 

 

 

Second-grade math teacher’s meeting from 3:50 to 5 p.m. on Thursday in the Administrative Services Center

 

 

 

No school for pre-kindergarten students on Friday. Staff members are in professional development sessions all day.

Carver Elementary: (Tuesday, September 15) – Second graders participate in “Save Our Kids” water safety classes at 1:30 p.m. at the Aycock Recreation Center

 

   

New Hope Elementary: (Tuesday, September 15) – Second graders participate in “Save Our Kids” water safety classes at 1:30 p.m. at the Henderson Family YMCA

 

 

 

E.O. Young Jr. Elementary: (Tuesday, September 15) – PBIS meeting at 3:15 p.m.

 

 

 

Carver Elementary: (Thursday, September 17) – Second graders participate in “Save Our Kids” water safety classes at 1:30 p.m. at the Aycock Recreation Center

 

 

 

New Hope Elementary: (Thursday, September 17) – Second graders participate in “Save Our Kids” water safety classes at 1:30 p.m. at the Henderson Family YMCA. PTA meeting at 6 p.m.

 

 

 

E.O. Young Jr. Elementary: (Thursday, September 17) – PTO Open House and Math Madness Night at 7 p.m.

 

 

 

E.O. Young Jr. Elementary: (Friday, September 18) – Fall pictures taken beginning at 8:30 a.m.
