IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

  The Vance County Board of Education meets Monday at 7 p.m. in the Board Room of

  the Administrative Services Center on Graham Avenue in Henderson.

 

 

 

?

 

  A “Teacher Talk” session will be held on Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Board Room of

  Administrative Services Center.

 

 

 

?

  Early release day for all students, except at Early College High, on Wednesday due

  to staff development sessions in the afternoon. Elementary and high schools dismiss

  at 2 p.m. and middle schools dismiss at 12:15 p.m. The STEM Early High dismisses

  at 11:45 a.m.

STEM Early High:  (Thursday, September 17) Parent Night” informational meeting to celebrate the past and look forward to working together for a positive future with limitless opportunities for students

Early College High:  (Thursday, September 17) – End of first six-week grading period

Western Vance High:  (Friday, September 18) – Student Council officer elections

Tuesday, September 22: Student led conferences with parents at Early College High from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. during which students will explain their first six-week grades to parents. Pizza will be provided.

Tuesday, September 22: Discovery Professional Development at 3:45 p.m. for math teachers and PTO meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Henderson Middle

Wednesday, September 23: Interim Progress Reports are distributed in middle schools

Thursday, September 24: College Fair at Early College High

Tuesday, September 29: Super Senior portrait make-up day

 

 

?

Friday, October 2: End of six-week grading period in high schools

Monday, October 5: Teacher workday, except at Early College High. No school for students.

 

 

 

 

FALL ATHLETIC EVENTS
Northern Vance and Southern Vance Football Admission is $6.00.

Soccer Admission is $5.00 and Wrestling Admission is $5.00.

Admission for Tennis is free.

Eaton-Johnson and Henderson Middle Football Admission is $5.00.

Soccer and Wrestling Admission is $5.00.
