On December 18, 2009 around 2:30 a.m. patrol officers with the Henderson Police Department responded to the Hard Times Pawn Shop at 106 Dabney Drive in reference to an alarm activation.
Upon the initial arrival of the responding officer, Gerald Dunston of 911 Bane Ave in Henderson, North Carolina was found inside the business.
Dunston attempted to run outside of the business, but was quickly apprehended by the responding officer.
Dunston was arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering and was given a bond of $30,000. He remains in the Vance County Jail pending a court date of January 19, 2009.
