
Cager Jones
On January 17, 2010 a patrol officer with the Henderson Police Department was patrolling in the 900 block of Young Avenue when he located a subject acting suspiciously.
The officer observed the individual drop a small white paper object enclosed with a rubber band on the ground and attempt to leave the area after being ordered to stop by the officer. Upon inspection of the object, the officer discovered five bindles of heroin in the amount of 1.8 grams.
The individual, Cager Jones of 836 State Street in Henderson was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, deliver a Schedule I controlled substance, and resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer.
Jones was given a secured bond of $15,000 and remains in the Vance County Jail pending a court date of February 18, 2010.
On November 3, 2009 a patrol officer with the Henderson Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 500 Block of Young Avenue.
Subsequent to the stop, the officer found 180 bindles of heroin on the driver, Cager Jones of 836 State Street in Henderson, North Carolina.
Jones was arrested for possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver a Schedule I controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was taken before a magistrate and was given a $40,000 secured bond pending a court date of November 17, 2009. Jones was then transported to the Vance County Jail where three additional bindles of heroin were located on his person along with crack cocaine. He was then charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance in a jail, and he was given an additional $20,000 secured bond for the additional charges.
Jones is listed as being on twenty-four month supervised probation for a conviction of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. These charges were from an arrest involving copper theft from a residence on Wester Ave in Henderson in June of 2008.
