
Sheriff Peter White
Peter White was sworn in today as Sheriff of Vance County in a ceremony at the Vance County Courthouse at 12:30 p.m. this afternoon.
The ceremony was presided over by Judge J. Henry Banks, who made welcoming remarks.

Comments were made by Congressman G.K. Butterfield, Col. Richard W. Holden and Maj. Carnell Taylor, both retired from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
