The 2nd Annual Kids Walk will be held at Southern Vance High School on Saturday, June 16, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. — 12:00 p.m.
What is Kids Walk?
The Kid’s Walk is a fun filled celebration designed for young people up to age 15 to participate and get involved in Relay for Life. The children are invited to walk around the track and enjoy a number of activities and games held during this 2-hour event.
How to Register:
Each child needs to complete a registration form, pay a $5 registration fee and try to raise $25. Each child that registers will receive a t-shirt at the event. The registration deadline is May 3rd, 2007 this Thursday.
The top male and top female that raises the most money will be crowned Little Miss and Little Mr. Relay.
To be eligible, all monies need to be turned in to Liz Catlett on or before May 3, 2007. Opportunities to turn in money are: February 15, March 15, April 12 and May 3, 2007 at Vance Senior Center, 126 S. Garnett St., Henderson, NC from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
If not participating in Little Miss/Little Mr., money raised can be turned in at the Relay.
