On October 6, 2011 members of the Henderson Police Department Special Operations Division arrested Gary Holden, 19, of 916 Southern Pine Street, Henderson, Daquan Alston, 17, of 65 Rose Lane, Henderson, and Rameke Holden, 17, of 916 Southern Pine Street, Henderson. All were charged with common law robbery in relation to the robbery and assault that occurred at the Henderson Convention Center, 100 Wortham Court, Henderson on September 30, 2011. During the assault a cell phone and U.S. currency was taken from the victim, Maurice Marrow. Rameke Holden was given a $5,000 secured bond, Gary Holden was given a $500.00 secured bond, and Daquan Alston was given a $500.00 secured bond pending a court hearing on October 24, 2011.

We are appalled at the bonds set in this case. According to the story in the Dispatch, they beat the guy and kicked him, etc. Then they’re given miniscule bonds!?!
We haven’t seen the last of the rap sheet for these guys. They’re just beginning to take form. Let’s stop this madness now, Henderson!
An inquiring mind wants to know
In Henderson how much will their grandmother or an auntie pay for $5,000 secured bond?
Is there a discount for under age criminals?
Is there multiple family member discount?
If the “accused” are living in government housing when does the evection process start with their arrest or their conviction?
If the “accused” are filling a school desk are they expelled upon their arrest?
Do elected officials who are preachers visit the “accused”, their grandmother, or auntie to offer spiritual and government housing guidance?
