This evening, Henderson hosts two official meetings, one for the Vance County Board of Commissioners, and another for the Vance County Board of Education. As a note, the City of Henderson will hold it’s next meeting next Monday, November 14th. But the City does have a special called meeting on Monday for a closed session regarding an economic matter. The full agenda packet is already up for the BoC meeting, and the BoE packet I will attempt to publish on Monday morning.
This week’s Presidental Weekly Address actually comes from the Vice President. Speaking from the University of Pittsburgh, Vice President Biden argues that this month’s jobs numbers demonstrate that Congress should pass the American Jobs Act to strengthen our economy and create jobs right away.
