Thursday’s open line

We were flipping through the channels (something we rarely do), when we saw the tail end of a story about the “pants suit”. In case you’re wondering, the “pants suit” is a lawsuit brought by a judge against a dry cleaner in Washington, D.C. for $54 million because the cleaners lost a pair of pants, thus not living up to the “satisfaction guaranteed” sign in their shop.

We’ve never been proponents of limiting a citizen’s right to seek redress of grievances in court, but…really!

New policy: satisfaction is not guaranteed. Sue away.
