Roy Lee Burt
On Monday March 12, 2012, Henderson Police Officers arrested Roy Lee Burt, 31, 1015 Lehman Street in Henderson. Burt was charged with one count of Attempted Murder, one count of Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury, and one count of felonious Breaking and Entering. He was placed in the Vance County Jail without bond pending an appearance in Vance County District Court on March 13, 2012.
Charges in this matter stem from an incident that occurred on February 3, 2012. Henderson Police Officers responded to 237 Gary Street, Henderson in response to a stabbing. Officers found Darryl Thomas of the residence suffering from injuries. Thomas was transported to Maria Parham Medical Center for treatment.
