Makenzie Pendergrass
Family and friends of four year old Makenzie Pendergrass, of the Middleburg Community in Henderson are hosting an online fundraiser to help with her medical expense.
Makenzie was stricken with Astrocytoma of the spine, when she was two years old. She has had two surgeries on her spine and continues to receive chemo therapy and physical therapy at Duke University Hospital. She makes multiple trips to Duke each week for treatment.
Makenzie has exhausted some of her insurance and the family needs help to continue her treatments so that she will be able to walk again,go to school, play ball like the other kids her age.
She has been very brave through all of this so far, and we are asking for your help so she can continue to improve and make a full recovery.
