Robbery & Assault Case:
On July 01, 2012 at 9:11 a.m., officers of the Henderson Police Department were dispatched to a robbery & assault call in which Tyrone Royster of 902 Lynne Haven Ave., reported he was robbed. Upon arrival officers talked with the victim who stated that two black males assaulted him and took money from this wallet. The incident occured at the Shell Station located at 450 E. Andrews Ave. One black male had a weapon. One suspect was about 6ft weighting about 180lbs and was wearing a white tank top, ball cap and gym shorts. The second suspect was wearing a white T- shirt gym shorts and sandals. Both suspect left on an older model gray Oldsmobile. Breaking & Entering Larceny Case:
On July 02, 2012 at11:30 a.m., officers of the Henderson Police Department were dispatched to 704 Arch Street in reference to a breaking and entering of a vacant house owned by the Roger’s Group.
Upon arrival officers talked with James Shealy who stated that someone had taken several items from the residence. Taken were a water heater, stainless steel sink and a space heater. Estimated value $1600.00.
