Suspicious Structure Fire
On October 31, 2008, at approximately 6:39 p.m. and on November 17, 2008, at approximately 8:13 p.m., the Henderson Police Department was dispatched to a structure fire at the Beacon Light Apartments on 318 Boddie Street.
The apartments were vacant and they have no electric meters for power. The Fire Department stated that the fires were deliberately set.

B & E Larceny
On November 7,2008, at about 7:48 a.m., a deputy of the Vance County Sheriff’s office was dispatched to 205 Toyota Lane.
Upon arrival, John Brown of Warner Brothers General Contracting stated that someone had broken into a trailer on the construction site. The suspects took a 16 foot trailer with about $7,000 worth of tools. The trailer was yellow in color with the license plate number BB6-1602. The trailer was valued at $4,000.
The Vance County Sheriff’s Office has no suspect at this time.
