It’s still summer break for many kids, but under way is one of the nation’s largest seasonal events that exchanges leisure for classroom study. It’s back to school time. From nursery school to college, 79 million students are headed to the classroom — that’s more than one-out-of-four of the total U.S. population aged 3 and over. Of Americans between the ages of 18 to 24 years, 42 percent are enrolled in college. Nursery school or kindergarten enrollment is over 9 million. There are nearly 33 million students in elementary schools, and 16.6 million high school students. Getting ready for school this month means buying a lot of new clothes — around $8.5 billion worth. An idea to help the Army save a few dollars. Put dishonorably discharged Bradley Manning in a cell with soon to be dishonorably discharged Malik Hasan. One wants to be treated as a woman and one get’s one of the promised virgins while still living.
Sounds like a good idea
Wonder why when a white attacks or kills a black it is called a hate crime but when a black attacks or kills a white it is called a random attack ?? Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. It seems to be open season on whites this week.
Dazed & Confused…I had the same thought on the subject. In addition, has anyone heard any “moral outrage” from Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton or Barrack Obama regarding the senseless murders of the Australian college student and the 88 year old WW 2 vet? I suppose they are too busy making speeches in Washington this weekend.
Maybe the pastor who enlightened everyone on Town Talk regarding the Zimmerman-Martin trial will weigh-in next week.
