Murder Case
On Thursday, November 22, 2012, at 9:52 P.M. members of the Henderson Police Department responded to the United Prayer of Faith Holiness Church, 127 Miriam Street, Henderson in response to someone shot. When officers arrived, they found Barry Wilkerson, 28, 1304 Nicholas Street, Henderson suffering from a gunshot wound. Wilkerson was pronounced dead at the scene. On Monday, October 28, 2013, at 8:30 P.M. members of the Henderson Police Department responded to 1318 Rose Street, Henderson in response to a breaking and entering. Upon arrival Officers talked to Jose Ramos who stated that someone had taken several items from his residence. The front door of the residence had been kicked open. On October 13, 2013 at 3:47am, members of the Vance County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a breaking and entering alarm at Cruizers 220 6325 US 1 /158 HWY Middleburg. Upon arrival deputies found the glass broken out of the convenience store.
