  February is Black History Month

 

?

  A meeting with selected middle school math teacher leaders on Wednesday from

  8:15 to 11:30 a.m. A meeting on Wednesday from 12:15 to 3:30 p.m. with selected

  middle school teacher leaders. Both meetings will be held in the Curriculum Area

  of the Administrative Services Center.

Thursday, February 13: Financial Aid Night at 6 p.m. for parents and students at Southern Vance High School. Amy Denton of the College Foundation of North Carolina, will be the guest speaker.

Monday, February 17: End of fourth six-week grading period at Early College High

Tuesday, February 18: Teacher workday at Early College High. No school for students.

Wednesday, February 19: Report cards distributed at Early College High

Wednesday, February 19: Dr. Joseph Aicher will lead training with juniors and teachers for the ACT at Northern Vance High School.

Thursday, February 20: Interim Progress Reports distributed at middle schools

Thursday, February 20: Dr. Joseph Aicher will lead training with juniors and teachers for the ACT at Southern Vance High School.

Friday, February 21: Dr. Joseph Aicher will lead training with juniors and teachers for the ACT at Early College High School and Western Vance High School.

Saturday, February 22: FAFSA Day at Vance-Granville Community College and the State Employee Credit Union from 9 a.m. to noon for parents and eligible students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid electronically in preparation for applying for college financial aid. If participating at the State Employee Credit Union, on Graham Avenue in Henderson, parents should make an appointment by calling 492-0168. More information will be shared in high schools with parents and students.
