A writer for Our State magazine is doing a September story, “100 Voices for 100 Counties,” and is seeking one person from each county in North Carolina who best represents the county – where it’s been, is or is going. The person’s age, gender, notoriety or being a native isn’t relevant. The article seeks to find someone who, when it’s asked, “You really want to know what it’s like here?
