Anthony Gill, 36, arrested on federal drug and gun charges
Anthony Gill, 36, of 1012 Standish Street in Henderson, North Carolina was taken into custody after a joint investigation by members of the Henderson Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.
Gill was indicted on federal charges of conspiracy to distribute more than 50 grams of cocaine, distribution of more than 5 grams of cocaine, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, and use of a firearm in the furtherance of a drug trafficking offense.
Because of Gill’s previous convictions, he faces a minimum mandatory sentence in federal prison of 25 years.
The Henderson Police Department has stated that it will continue to prosecute as many violent offenders and drug traffickers as possible on the federal level to ensure that they receive the maximum punishment possible and to safeguard the safety of our citizens in our neighborhoods and the entire community.
