My friends, the the great experiment: higher teacher pay to attract a higher quality of teachers. Will it work? For that matter, how do you tell a great teacher from a mediocre one on a resume? (For what it’s worth, we don’t think it will work as long as the teachers are being judged on standardized test outcomes.)
