Vance County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, August 4 at 8:45 a.m. in the commissioners conference room.  The purpose is to enter into closed session for personnel matters.

Planning/Environmental Committee (Wilder, Garrison, Taylor) Wednesday, July 22 at 3:30 p.m. Purpose: Solar, Neighborhood Stabilization Program   Properties Committee (Brown, Brummitt, Hester) Wednesday, July 29 at 9:00 a.m. Purpose: REO Properties, Space Study, Joint Properties   Both meetings will be held in the Administrative Conference Room.   Note:  all commissioners are invited to attend.  

Vance County’s Water Planning Committee (Garrison, Brummitt, Taylor) is scheduled to meet Monday, July 27th at 3:00 p.m. in the Administrative Conference Room.  The purpose is to discuss water matters. Note:  All commissioners are invited to attend.

Please note that the July 6th meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.  The reason is to enter into closed session to discuss economic development matters that will be addressed in two public hearings later in the meeting. The HR Committee will meet at 4:30 p.m.

Vance County’s Planning/Environmental Committee (Wilder, Garrison and Taylor) is scheduled to meet Wednesday, June 24 at 5:00 p.m. in the Administrative Conference Room.  The purpose is to discuss solar farms. Note:  all commissioners are invited to attend. Please note that the purpose of the Planning/Environmental Committee meeting has been updated to include discussion of (1) zoning ordinance amendment for private and church cemeteries as well as manufacturing uses and (2) zoning ordinance amendment concerning solar farm regulations.

Vance County Board of Commissioners scheduled its next work session for Thursday night (May 28) at 6:00 p.m.

Vance County Board of Commissioners Budget Work Session has been changed to Wednesday, May 13 at 6:00 p.m.  It was originally set for Thursday, May 14.
