The Henderson City Council unanimously approved staggered terms for members of the Henderson Redevelopment Commission during its meeting on Monday evening.
City to apply with Embassy Foundation for grant
The Henderson City Council voted unanimously on Monday night to hold a public hearing on June 9, 2008 pursuant to an application with the Embassy Foundation for a Community Revitalization Grant with the North Carolina Department of Community Assistance.

Man arrested on fugitive warrant
– Jamario Wilson, of 141 Shank Street, was arrested for resisting, delaying, and obstructing a law enforcement officer. He was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $500 secured bond.
