Arrest for Felonious Possession of Marijuana
On Friday, November 07, 2014, members of the Henderson Police Department Special Operation Unit arrested David Spencer Moss, 38, 1569 Beechtree Trail, Kittrell, N.C. Moss was charged with the following offenses: Felonious possession of marijuana; Manufacturing marijuana; Possession of drug paraphernalia; Maintaining a dwelling for keeping or selling a controlled substance. NCDOT Awards Contract for Cedar Creek Bridge Replacement in Franklin County
RALEIGH – The N.C. Department of Transportation has awarded a contract to replace the bridge over Cedar Creek on Cedar Creek Road in Franklin County. The project can begin as early as Dec.1 and is scheduled for completion by Oct.1, 2015, weather permitting. Vance-Granville Community College and Eaton-Johnson Middle School in Henderson are expanding upon the partnership between the two institutions’ student leadership programs. As part of a broad collaboration between the community college and the middle school, the ambassador programs from each side have worked together since 2008.
